Wine Tasting Notes:

Ramian Estate Rose is a rich, medium bodied wine with immense amounts of bright red fruits.  It is not your traditional style Rose; it is much bigger than it appears to be.

Jacob’s Creek Shiraz Reserve has a color of deep crimson with purple hues.  On the nose a rich fragrant blackberry and plum with a hint of spice balanced by integrated coffee/vanilla and toasty cedar oak notes.  In the mouth there are intense dark berry fruit flavors, with layers of olive and spice.  It is full bodied with velvety tannins which provide the perfect backbone for expression of concentrated, spicy Shiraz flavors. The generous approachable fruit flavors ensure this wine can be enjoyed now; however the balance and structure of this wine will, if carefully cellared, evolve gracefully for the next 10 years.

Stonewood Cellars Chardonnay is a fruit-flavored style with a subtle touch of oak, a combination of pineapple, pear and citrus aromas.  Part barrel fermented, aged in both Stainless Steal and Oak. 85% Chardonnay, 15% Chenin Blanc.  Serve with sautéed chicken, salmon, fresh salads, sushi.

Stonewood Cellars Merlot is medium bodied with a smooth aftertaste.  Ripe cherry aromas with a hint of toasty oak. Barrel aged up to 6 months.  92% Merlot, 6% Pinot Noir, 2% Sangiovese.  Best served with pizza, tomato sauces, and pork tenderloin.

Stonewood Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon has a purple deep color and a full smooth flavor.  Currant and black cherry complement the accessible tannins.  Barrel aged in American Oak.  91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 4% Petite Syrah.  Wild game or any red meat dishes will compliment best.

Stonewood Cellars Shiraz is a deeply colored, medium bodied red wine.  The aromas are a combination of strawberries and raspberries, with black currant and red fruit flavors.  The finish is smooth, full and satisfying.  Barrel aged for at least three months. Serve with red meats, highly seasoned pork, game and spicy Thai or Indian dishes.

El Yali Wetland is Central Chile’s most important wetland ecosystem, home to a diverse and abundant aquatic birdlife population that is unique in the world.  The wetland lies between the famous regions of Maipo and Casablanca.  Since 1996 El Yali has been designated as a National Protection Area in Chile and a Ramsar site.  The Ramsar Convention is an international treaty that promotes the conservation and sustainable utilization of wetlands around the world.
